Open Call for "Emerging Visions" Group Exhibition

Olyaa Gallery is pleased to announce an open call for its upcoming group exhibition, "Emerging Visions," showcasing the work of new and upcoming artists. We invite submissions from artists working in various media to participate in this exciting opportunity.

Exhibition Details
- Dates: March 8 - March 29, 2025
- Location: Olyaa Gallery, 704 76th Street, North Bergen, NJ 07047
- Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 26, 2025
- Opening Reception: TBD

Eligibility
- Open to new and emerging artists aged 18 and above
- All media accepted (2D and 3D), as long as it can be displayed in the gallery
- Artists must be able to deliver and pick up their work

Submission Guidelines
- Submit 3 to 10 images of recent work, created within the last two years
- Works must be entirely original and created solely by the applying artist
- Include an artist statement and bio
- Provide artwork details: title, medium, dimensions, and year created
- Submission fee: none

Selection Process
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of jurors, including Olyaa Gallery’s artist-in-residence, the internationally acclaimed Youngsup Han. Selected artists will be notified by Sunday, March 2.

Exhibition Terms
- Exhibition fee: $100 if selected, due prior to artwork installation at Olyaa Gallery
- This fee covers the gallery’s administrative and operational costs, marketing and promotional materials, documentation media, and opening reception expenses
- Artists are responsible for transportation and installation of their work
- All artwork must be ready to hang or display
- Exhibition will run for the month of March, 2025

Artist Personal Reception Opportunity
Artists may request a two-hour private reception period during the exhibition, subject to the following conditions:

- Available only during the exhibition period
- Excludes opening reception, weekends, and final exhibition day
- Gallery space rental must be arranged in advance
- Artist is responsible for all associated costs
- Specific timing and logistics must be coordinated with gallery management
- Limited availability

Sales and Commissions
- All artwork must be priced for sale
- Artwork must be available for sale during the exhibition and cannot be withdrawn before the end of the exhibit
- Artists will retain a 50% commission on all exhibition sales and maintain discretion for pricing
